July 28, 2008, Ottawa, Ontario, Canada Welch LLP today announced the award of a five-year U.S. General Services Administration (GSA) Schedule 520-15 contract, number GS-23F-0049U for providing billing, collection and fund administration services to the U.S.A. Government.
The award of a GSA schedule contract is a big step for our firm in establishing ourselves as trusted vendors for the U.S. Government, said Garth Steele, Partner at Welch LLP. It will position us to provide our current and new government clients with a streamlined, online channel to access our approved services.
The General Services Administration (GSA) is the procurement arm of the United States Federal Government. It is also a buying portal in the governmental bid process of all levels of contracting on the local, state, and federal level.
