Welch LLP sponsors Olympic kayaker Kristin Gauthier

In January 2009, Welch LLP managers Anne Chamberlain, Ellen Hood, Mark Jackson, Shannon Jackson and Line Robitaille sponsored Olympic kayaker Kristin Gauthier for $5,000 to assist in her training endeavors.

At the Beijing Olympics in August 2008, Kristin finished 10th in the women’s K4 500m event and 14th in the women’s K2 500m event. She is currently training for a busy summer season of racing, including the 2009 World Senior Canoe-Kayak Championships, being held in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia August 12-16, 2009.
