Dan Atkinson graduated from Queen's University in 1969 and received his CA designation in 1973 - the same year he obtained his MBA from York University. Dan joined Welch LLP in 1989 and became a Partner in 1991.
Dan works with clients in many different industries - including audit, accounting, not-for-profit and tax clients. His primary focus is on owner-managed businesses while applying his information technology expertise to benefit the client.
As an active member of the community, Dan has been involved with the Council for the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Ontario, Public Accountants Council of Ontario, Chair of a local Community Mental Health Organization, Parent-Teacher Association, Heritage Belleville, Belleville City Centre, River Front Trail, Mayor's Committee for Downtown Revitalization and the Belleville & District Chamber of Commerce. Dan is currently President of the Napanee Chamber of Commerce and advisor to the Napanee Business Improvement Association.
