Rick reid , CA - Ottawa

Rick Reid has been with Welch since 1980, first as a co-op student in the Belleville office, then moving to Ottawa after graduating from the University of Waterloo with a degree in Mathematics.  He attained his CA designation in 1985 and became partner in 2007.

Rick has lectured for the ICAO in audit areas as well as leading the Institute staff training course for a number of years.  He has also provided seminars in various topics from accounting and auditing issues regarding condominium corporations to incorporating professional practices.

Rick provides audit and accounting services to corporations in the construction, automotive and retail industries as well as medical and charitable organizations and government departments.

He spends his non-working hours tending to his family, particularly the youngest member, and tries to maintain his interest in the arts while sneaking in a round of golf at every opportunity.
