Scott Murdoch, CA - Ottawa

Scott joined Welch in September 1988 after graduating from University of Ottawa with a Commerce Degree (specialization in Accounting) and has worked his entire career at Welch except for one year where he was a manager with a national accounting firm. Scott received his Chartered Accountant designation in 1991 and was promoted to Partner in 2001.

Scott has been providing audit and business advisory services to various government agencies and not-for-profit clients for more than 15 years. Scott also provides audit and advisory services to private sector owner-managed businesses, particularly in the automotive, professionals and construction sectors.

Scott has been named one of Ottawa's 2005 Top Forty under 40.

Scott volunteers his time at Longfields Manor to hold an annual personal income tax clinic.
