Community involvement

With my passion for the outdoors and in helping people, I am a member of “Ottawa Volunteer Search and Rescue (SBO-OVSAR)” an organization whose mission is to assist individuals and communities by providing quality search and rescue and search management services.

I also volunteer with the Preston Street Business Improvement Association through providing financial highlights and advice on an ongoing basis.

Hobbies / Talents

The things I am most passionate about on a personal level are music, fitness and the outdoors. I play guitar on a regular basis and find it one of the best ways to wind down and relax.

I am a very active person and enjoy playing Baseball, Ultimate Frisbee and Hockey. I am also a sports spectator, GO SENS! GO JAYS! GO REDBLACKS!

Most Memorable Vacation

I have travelled much in my life so there are many great vacations to mention however the one that I first think of is one of my many visits to Italy. The country my parents were born. In 2013, my whole family vacationed in Italy where I was able to connect with family members I had not seen since the last time I visited ten years prior. What made it even more special was that it was the last time I was able to spend time with my late grandmother. I am hoping to travel back to Italy and Europe on a more regular basis in the future.

Personal Accomplishment

I am most proud of achieving my CPA, CA designation. It is one of the hardest certifications to achieve and took a tremendous amount of work and experience.

I am also very proud of obtaining my Senate Medal for Academic Achievement through Carleton University.
