Derrick Crowe
CPA, CAPartner
Toronto
Derrick graduated from Brock University in 2000 with a Bachelor in Accounting. He started as a co-op student at Smith Nixon LLP, focusing on owner/managed enterprises and not-for-profit enterprises. Through his extensive experience, Derrick developed a passion working with those working in their organization. The drive and vision these individuals had was not only a learning experience, but also inspired Derrick as he grew to love helping individuals grow and develop their enterprise- through either tax compliance and/or planning, financial and operational consulting, working with other advisors, or just developing working relationships with great people.
Derricks experience is with privately owned clients in a number of industries – construction, manufacturing, transportation, IT, architecture, engineering, advertising, and interior design. He has worked with national charities and NPO’s as well as local entities. He also has experience with assisting clients through tax reorganizations, sell side due diligence, and indirect and corporate tax audits in addition to overseeing audits and reviews.
