Mike is a Manager at Welch LLP with several years’ experience assisting clients with their accounting, taxation, and internal financial control needs. Mike has served clients in several sectors, including: owner managed (real estate / retail / professional corporations); high-tech (publicly traded and start-ups); federal government, education, charity, and other not-for-profit areas.

Mike received a Bachelor of Commerce, while majoring in accounting, from the Telfer School of Management (2008). Mike is a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) (2010), and is also a Certified Information System Auditor (CISA) (2011).

Mike performed a university accounting co-op at a small Chartered Accounting firm, worked 4.5 years at a “big 4” firm after university, and 1 year as a project management consultant in the federal government before coming to Welch.

Mike provides value to clients by continually delivering high quality services and going the extra mile to advise clients on achieving their organizational goals. Mike strives to strengthen Welch through business development, delivering internal courses, participation in charity events, and involvement in recruiting activities.
