Rick Reid has been providing audit and accounting services for over 30 years to corporations in the construction, automotive and retail industries as well as medical and charitable organizations and government departments.

Rick has been with Welch since 1980 and retired as Partner at the end of 2014. He started his career at Welch as a co-op student in the Belleville office and moved to Ottawa after graduating from the University of Waterloo with a degree in Mathematics. He attained his CA designation in 1985 and became Partner in 2007.

He has lectured for the firm and CPA Ontario on several audit-related topics including staff training courses, not for profit entities and professional corporations.

He continues as an associate dealing with family owned businesses in the real estate, construction and automotive industries as well as helping to serve and transition his former clients.
