Welch LLP Participates in Coldest Night of the Year

On February 23rd eight staff from Welch LLP’s Ottawa office, including partner Garth Steele, walked 5k in the Coldest Night of the Year fundraising walk. The “Welch Winter Walkers” raised over $1,900 through the support of friends, family, coworkers, and office fundraising events. Over 300 people participated in the downtown walk in support of the Ottawa Mission, raising a total of $123,000 which will go towards providing food and shelter for those in need. The Coldest Night of the Year (CNOY) walks are held all across Canada (including two walks in Ottawa), and raise money for hundreds of homeless shelters nationwide. This year, CNOY fundraising walks met their fundraising goal of $5 million in total. Thank you to all who participated!
